I'm so thankful for a job & life I love.
My name is Lauren, and I am a full-time wedding, portrait & family photographer based in the Fort Wayne, IN area. My husband and I recently relocated back home to Fort Wayne after spending the first part of our marriage near Columbus, OH. While I'll still be traveling back to Ohio, and telling love stories all around Indiana and beyond, we're excited to raise our family close to family ;)

when I don't have a camera in my hand
I believe in romanticizing everything. Making dinner is better with the Ratatouille soundtrack on in the background and any task is better with an iced latte.
I'm in a hardcore reading phase! Catch me flying through a novel on my back deck or snuggled up with tea at night.
I spend the most around of my time with my bestie and husband, Cody. We're excitedly awaiting our first child in July of this year!
Now, back to photography...
Once upon a time, a girl named Lauren (oh hey, that's me!) studied graphic design for the sake of pursuing something artistic (we’ll come back to that) and got her first big girl job at a church. Through that church, girl met boy, and boy married girl.
Our new marriage, though sweet and exciting, was full of hard moments and lots of transition too. We moved 3 hours away from family for a job opportunity for my husband. It was that year, in 2021, that (against my veryyy frugal tendencies lol) my husband bought me a camera.
Now back to that graphic designer girl going through the motions… That camera that I had literally no idea how to use, became my obsession. I volunteered on the camera team at our new church and started getting a couple portrait clients.
One month into my “lil photo biz,” a friend at church was about to propose to his girlfriend and asked if I did wedding photography. I said OH HECK NO. And he said “Please?? My girlfriend really wants you.” And so I vowed to learn everything I possibly could to not let them down.
When it came time to shoot my first wedding, I felt ready. And the simple, sweet, holy moments of that day gave me a feeling I hadn’t felt in so long—passion.
I’m so thankful for that first couple who trusted me with their story. And now I can't believe that telling the unique stories of so many couples, their love, their romance, their tears, and their laughs is now my full time job.
